Bayridge is an independent residence and cultural center in the heart of the Back Bay, providing off-campus housing for non-married university women in undergraduate and graduate programs at a variety of local universities:  Boston University, Northeastern University, Tufts University, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory of Music, Boston College, and Harvard.

Bayridge uniquely combines an atmosphere of serious study with opportunities for cultural and personal enrichment in a supportive family-like environment.  We encourage young women to seek excellence in their work, to use their professional expertise in the service of others, and to see their work in the larger context of a flourishing life.  With regular musical performances, presentations on a wide range of topics by professors and professionals, service opportunities in the local community, and fun outings on the weekends, there is always something to learn and do at Bayridge.

Our residents come from all over the US and from many other countries.  Recent residents have come from France, Canada, Guatemala, Colombia, China, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Korea, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Indonesia, Russia, Finland, Ecuador, Argentina, India, Iran, Portugal, and Germany....  the list grows every semester!
