A Retreat for College Women at Arnold Hall Conference Center.
Retreats at Arnold Hall Conference Center provide an opportunity to reflect on one's everyday life in light of basic Christian principles.
The conference center is located on approximately 100 acres in Pembroke Massachusetts. Walking trails, scenic views, peaceful meadows and a shrine dedicated to Mary, Mother of God, help those attending the retreats to maintain a spirit of prayer and recollection. Each one is encouraged to maintain external silence to help foster their internal dialogue with God. Three meals a day are provided in a family style environment.
The retreat includes Holy Mass, talks or classes, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and recitation of the rosary. The priest is available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and there is also opportunity for personal spiritual direction. The retreats are conducted by priests of Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church. Opus Dei strives to promote the practice of Christianity among lay faithful in their everyday work and ordinary occupations.
